Georgia joins the global environmental movement by celebrating Earth Hour for the 17th consecutive year.
The initiative aims to raise public awareness about climate change and promote environmental consciousness.
In support of this global initiative, and at the initiative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, several iconic buildings and landmarks across Tbilisi will switch off their lights for one hour.
This symbolic gesture will see the Government Administration building, the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, and other government buildings, including the Parliament, go dark.
Additionally, the lights will be turned off at key locations such as Rike Park, the Peace Bridge, Narikala Fortress, and the Tbilisi TV Broadcasting Tower.
