Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said on Saturday that Amnesty International had repeatedly disseminated false information and statements based on disinformation.
Speaking to journalists, Kobakhidze said the organisation had consequently lost the trust of the Georgian public.
“This organisation has disseminated false information and made statements based on disinformation on numerous occasions. Consequently, it has unfortunately lost the trust of the Georgian public. That is the reality. Given this, I am not at all surprised by [Marco] Rubio’s attitude towards this organisation”, the Prime Minister said.
