Levan Makhashvili, the Chair of the Georgian Parliament’s Committee on European Integration, said on Friday that bilateral relations between Georgia and the United States were progressing slowly but steadily.
Speaking to reporters, Makhashvili noted that cooperation between the two countries was expanding across a growing range of areas.
“Bilateral relations between Georgia and the US are developing step by step. While progress may be gradual, it is steady, and the scope of cooperation between our countries continues to expand”, Makhashvili said.
“There is readiness at the highest political level on both sides for this positive trend to continue and, when the appropriate time and format emerge, to ultimately develop into a strategic partnership”, he concluded.
