Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday said that the Russian Federation was the only state and party responsible for the occupation of Georgian territories, calling it an “established fact”.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that Russia occupied 20% of Georgia’s territory, which is a crime against the Georgian state and its people.
“As for the occupation, everything is absolutely clear. Numerous statements have been made about this, and there is no need to question it anymore. Of course, the Russian Federation occupied 20% of Georgia’s territories, which was a crime against the Georgian state and our people. It is an absolutely clear crime committed against the Georgian state and the Georgian people. This was occupation, followed by the so-called recognition”, he concluded.
