Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday said that work on the Anaklia Deep Sea Port has entered an active phase.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that the first phase of the project is expected to be completed in 2029, with the port scheduled to receive its first vessels by that time.
“According to our plan, the first phase should be completed in 2029, and by that year the Deep Sea Port should be ready to receive its first ships. Work on the project will therefore continue actively”, the Prime Minister said.
