The Georgian Government on Friday extended until October 1, 2026, access to a range of medical services for Ukrainian citizens who entered Georgia due to the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine and have remained continuously in the country.
The decision was made by the Government of Georgia and formalised in an order signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
The extension applies to Ukrainian citizens who entered Georgia between February 1, 2022, and October 1, 2026, because of the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine and have continuously remained in the country.
Ukrainian citizens who meet the criteria will continue to have access to immunisation, treatment for tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS (including specific medications), maternal and child health services (including antenatal care and newborn screening), mental health services, diabetes management (including medications), dialysis, treatment for rare diseases and continuous replacement therapy, and referral services for urgent medical care, including childbirth and emergency immunisation.
