Cooperation with the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will continue, but the quality of that cooperation will depend on how the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly proceeds with its work, said on Monday Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
Kobakhidze said the issue would be “principally important” for the future cooperation between Georgia’s delegation and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
“Cooperation with the OSCE will continue. However, the quality of this cooperation will depend on how the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly continues its activities - whether it remains at the level of Joe Wilson or rises above the level of Joe Wilson”, the Prime Minister said.
He added that Georgia would closely observe how developments unfold, reiterating that the nature and level of cooperation would depend on the future actions of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly itself.
“Let us see how the processes continue. I would like to repeat that the quality of cooperation will depend on the further activities of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly”, Kobakhidze concluded.
