Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili on Monday extended his best wishes to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people on the 35th anniversary of independence, wishing them “peace, strength and a dignified future”.
In his remarks, Kavelashvili emphasised that Georgia, whose history has been marked by an uninterrupted struggle for freedom, knows well the true value of sovereignty.
“Independence is the ultimate expression of a nation’s free choice, state dignity and its right to determine its own future. Georgia, whose history represents an uninterrupted struggle for freedom, knows well the true value of sovereignty”, Kavelashvili said.
“On this special day, I wish the Ukrainian people peace, strength and a dignified future”, he concluded.
