Archil Gorduladze, the Chair of the Georgian Parliament’s Committee on Legal Affairs, on Thursday said French President Emmanuel Macron’s invitation to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to attend an international summit in Paris would provide “yet another opportunity” for Georgia’s voice to be heard “in every format and on every platform”.
“Please, do not reveal President Macron’s letter to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to the collective [opposition] United National Movement. They claim that neither the Prime Minister exists, nor the [ruling] Georgian Dream [party], nor the choice of the Georgian people”, he said.
“This will be yet another opportunity for our voice to be heard in every format and on every platform”, Gorduladze concluded.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has received an official invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron to attend the first International Space Summit, scheduled to take place in Paris on September 9-10.
According to the invitation, the summit will be co-chaired by France and Germany and will focus on key issues related to science, research, security, and defense in the space sector.
