Existing cooperation between Georgia and Kyrgyzstan was discussed on Friday in a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Kyrgyz Interior Minister Ulan Niyazbekov.
The meeting emphasised the importance of high-level visits for the further development of bilateral relations.
The officials noted that the documents signed during Kobakhidze’s visit to Kyrgyzstan created an important basis for deepening partnership in various fields.
The meeting also discussed the issues of cooperation in the security sector, both bilaterally and regionally.
The Prime Minister thanked Niyazbekov for Kyrgyzstan's support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders.
