Georgian Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili on Tuesday said the planned Trump Tower Tbilisi would integrate the Georgian capital into the global network developed by the Trump Organization over decades, while enhancing the country’s international visibility and investment appeal.
Speaking at the presentation of the Trump Tower Tbilisi project, Kvrivishvili described the development as a major international investment initiative whose significance extends beyond its scale and construction footprint.
“Trump Tower Tbilisi, the flagship and defining element of the large-scale Downtown Tbilisi project, places Georgia’s capital within the global network that the Trump Organization has been building for decades and which has become one of the most recognisable brands in the international real estate sector”, she said.
The Minister thanked the project’s partners for their confidence in Georgia and for making the decision to invest in the country.
“A large-scale project is being launched in Tbilisi that, in terms of investment volume, concept and the calibre of its international partners, will hold an important place on Georgia’s economic and investment map. I am confident that this major international project, built on Georgian and American capital, will become a new landmark for Tbilisi and make a significant contribution to further strengthening the country’s investment attractiveness and international profile”, Kvrivishvili said.
She stressed that the importance of the project was not limited to its size or development area.
“First and foremost, this is a clear demonstration of Georgia’s growing investment appeal and a strong vote of confidence in its economy, stability, development trajectory and long-term prospects. The foundation of this confidence is a stable and predictable economic environment, supported by the Georgian Government’s consistent economic policies and efforts in recent years”, Kvrivishvili concluded.
