The Minister emphasised that within Georgia’s strategy for the development of the digital economy and information society, the country was improving digital infrastructure, supporting technological advancement.
“Georgia will not be left behind in this global transformation. We are currently working on a national artificial intelligence strategy, while in Kutaisi’s technology hub we are establishing the country’s first artificial intelligence research centre. This space will bring together researchers, startups, and international technology companies to jointly create practical AI products and support the development of a talented young generation”, Kvrivishvili noted.
Kvrivishvili also highlighted the significance of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s opening address, underscoring China’s strong emphasis on international partnerships in AI development.
