The strategic policy for the development of the Anaklia Deep Sea Port will be under the control of the state, said on Tuesday Tamar Ioseliani, the Georgian Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
In her remarks, Ioseliani noted that countries and companies with relevant experience would be able to engage in the development of terminal infrastructure.
“The strategic policy for the development of the port will be under the control of the state, which, in turn, is obviously an important guarantee of protecting the country's economic and national interests. Countries, operators and companies that have relevant experience, will be able to attract relevant investments and additional cargo flows will be able to participate in the development of terminal infrastructure”, she said.
